Casino Prints

This is the first of a series of 16 reproduction prints of the original seasonal catalog covers of the French supermarket chain, Casino, founded in 1880. There are only 16 covers, recovered after a fire in the company archives. These prints were commissioned in 1998 by Laurent Guichard to commemorate the 100-year anniversary of the opening of the first franchise in Veauche, France and exclusively for the 425 or so direct descendants of founder Geoffroy Guichard. They have never been seen or offered for sale. Extremely rare.
