Poterie Galtié
Poterie Galtié is made from the red clay surrounding Saint Quentin la Poterie, a town whose very name evokes its vocation, pottery (the town had to be renamed in the late 1800s to satisfy the many potters who lived there).
Just 15 kilometers from the Pont du Gard, Saint Quentin’s kilns have been firing away since the 12th century.
With that famous Provencal light to inspire them, Patrick Galtié and his team of artisans draw from a palette of museum-quality colors.
Poterie Galtié creates objects of simple and timeless beauty that reflect the warmth of the Provencal soul: happy, friendly and full of life.
