Description: Tagine is the quintessential Moroccan dish, whose very name evokes the spices and perfumes of the Maghreb. It’s also the name for the enameled clay vessel that slowly stews this magical ragout of meat, chicken or fish, vegetables, dried fruit, and aromatics.
Each piece is individually crafted on potter’s wheel, enameled by hand in vibrant colors, then oven fired at 1200 centigrade. Cooking in clay is the best method for enhancing and bringing out the flavors in your food. Exceptional shape and stunning to look at, it’s also extremely practical: bake in any type of oven (gas, electric or convection) and straight to the table. Heat diffuser required for stove top. Microwave safe.
